This All-Purpose salve is just that, all-purpose! Calendula: Calendula Flower is known to promote cell regeneration and reduce inflammation. It is commonly used in skin treatments for it's soothing and healing properties as well.
 
Comfrey: Comfrey has long been used for generalized wound healing. Comfrey's ability to heal broken bones and properly reconnect wounded flesh won it it's genus name "Symphytum" which means "to unite" or "grow together." It's primary constituent, allantoin, penetrates deep within tissues to help heal broken bones and sprains! Topical use of Comfrey is known to facillitate proper healing, speed healing time, and even fade estalished scars!
 
Yarrow: Yarrow is also known to enhance skin cell regeneration, allowing it to speed healing time and treat various skin conditions such as rash, broken skin, hemorrhoids, scarring, and eczema when used both orally or topically. It's natural styptic and antiseptic properties allow Yarrow to quickly stop the bleeding of a fresh wound while also preventing infection. Because of it's antimicrobial properties, Yarrow can be used to prevent both internal and external infections, making it the most powerful antiseptic. Yarrow functions similarly to Valium within the body, dulling physical pain and easing symptoms of anxiety in both short and long term use. This herb has often been used by the military during wartime as an all-purpose treatment on the battlefield.
 
Frankincense: Frankincense has been used as a natural treatment for cancer and tumor reduction for centuries. It's natural antiseptic, disinfectant, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, emmenagogue, diuretic, and sedative properties, among others, make Frankincense the ultimate healing herb!
 
These harbs are steeped in a menstruum of organic olive oil for at least 6 weeks to release their oil soluble properties. As a saturated fat, olive oil is very low in polyunsaturated fat compared to natural Vitamin E levels, and is highly nourishing and hydrating to the skin.
