A Holistic Approach to Health

Holistic nutrition considers the whole person, and emphasizes the connection of food and lifestyle factors when assessing health. Things like daily diet, supplementation, and physical activity are analyzed in conjunction with nervous system function, stress levels, whole health history, and other lifestyle factors when creating fully custom client protocols.

This is more than just a diet and exercise plan!

At Holistic Beet, no two clients receive the same protocol. I combine traditional holistic approaches along-side modern science and experience to analyze and assess each client’s health history, diet history, and more. I dig deep into health patterns, food intolerances and allergies, gut health, stress levels, nervous system function, and so much more. Whether you are overcoming chronic health challenges, supporting your body in various seasons of change, or wanting to learn more about your health proactively, we will discover the hidden causes of unbalance and create a personalized protocol that will bring harmony to the whole system for lasting health.

Basic Minerals

Minerals are the spark plugs of the body, and are responsible for every function on a cellular level. Through HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis), we can assess your bio-individual mineral status, and build a custom holistic protocol to support your overall health.

Minerals & Hormones

Hormones work in conjunction with minerals to support overall health and wellness. With HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis) and DUTCH (dried urine test for comprehensive hormones) testing, we can see a more complete picture to assess and improve vitality.

FAQs

What is holistic nutrition?

Holistic nutrition is an approach to health that considers the whole person, including physical, mental, and emotional well-being. It emphasizes the connection between food, supplementation, lifestyle and other natural factors in improving overall health and wellness.

Do you work with only women?

While women primarily make up the bulk of my practice, I also work with men and children ages 5+!

What is HTMA?

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a functional test that provides insight into your body's personal system functions. A hair sample is used to evaluate the mineral content in your soft tissues. After clear interpretation, we can begin a path towards optimal health based on real time data.

Who is HTMA for?

I believe that everyone can benefit from HTMA testing! The Basic Minerals package is recommended for anyone who is ready to build a strong foundation for their overall health. This is a great place to begin if you’ve never worked with a holistic health practitioner, or are simply interested in getting a blueprint of your basic nutrition and health status.

What is a DUTCH test?

Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones collects urine samples over a period of time to assess sex hormones, metabolic hormones, stress hormones, and more. This test is superior to traditional blood or saliva tests that may not provide a broad enough timespan to assess patterns in real time.

Who is a DUTCH test for?

A DUTCH test is for anyone who would like a broader look at their hormone status. Blood panels provide a static “in the moment” look at hormone levels, whereas a DUTCH test takes samples over a period of time, offering a wider look at hormone levels and patterns.

What other labs or services do you offer?

I am able to offer additional lab work such as G.I. Mapping, various blood panels (Vitamin D, Thyroid, Metabolic Panel, etc.), and more. These labs must accompany a service package (Basic Minerals, Minerals & Hormones, or Essential Wellness), and are paid separately with a third party provider. State restrictions apply for additional labs.

Why work remotely?

Working remotely allows me to offer my services in a convenient format for both myself and the client. Without the cost of an office, I am also able to keep my fees down.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes! Payment plans are available for all services. Please reach out via the Client Inquiry Form prior to booking a service to discuss payment plan options.
